Here is a unique opportunity to have your very own slate with your name, or a loved one, a pet, etc (an osprey?), inscribed onto it to be there for perpetuity.

Right folks, we're just about ready to install our reclaimed Penrhyn Welsh Slates on the roof of the Dyfi WIldlife Centre.

We have to be quick, Duncan will be slating from this Wednesday onwards.

As an optional extra, if you want us to email you a photograph of your slate in situ with your chosen name on it, taken with a professional camera and lens, just let us know.

It's a £50 donation per signed slate and 100% of your donation will go directly to our Dyfi Wildlife Centre Appeal.

Once you've made your donation, just email us with your chosen name for your slate and whether you'd like us to email you a high resolution image of your slate.

With Gift Aid, the slate appeal has raised a blistering £9,880 towards our DWC appeal.

We needed to find over £600,000 to match-fund our grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund; this morning we're down to just £40,000 more to get. A fantastic effort.

The slate appeal is now closed and as soon as Duncan has engraved the last few names on the slates he'll be putting them on the roof this week.
