Defibrillator

Defibrillator

We've Received Our New Defibrillator

It could be you - but we sincerely hope not!

You may remember we ran a competition earlier in the season to raise money for a defibrillator for DOP?

Last week we received our new defibrillator from the charity Welsh Hearts and Iolo Williams popped along to help us raise some profile for the event.

The defibrillator will be kept in the office by the visitor centre, but in case someone has a cardiac arrest in the 360 Observatory - or on the way to it, we have a brand new bike kindly donated by Summit Cycles in Aberystwyth to transport the unit down to them.

Let's hope we never need to use it, but with 40,000 visitors a year these days, it's there if we do.

Here's Iolo, Nick from Welsh Hearts and our very own Kim:

(apologies for the slight wind-noise at the start, we'll get an external microphone for our camera next year!)

Thank you so much:
