29th June: We have two girls and one boy (originally thought to be three females), we've named them, as usual, after Welsh rivers and lakes. Blog and ringing video here.

FLEDGING

🦅 15^th July: PEDRAN fledges at 15:05 at 50.9 days old. Video here.

🦅 21^st July: PAITH fledges at 13:49 at 54.2 days old

LAST SEEN

PEDRAN – 11^th August at 09:05 aged 77.7 days. Respotted in Northumberland 15 days later.

TELYN – 25^th August at 15:37

PAITH – 29^th August at 11:15 aged 93.1 days. Respotted in Anse de Combrit, Brittany 8 days later.

PADARN – 12^th September at 19:20 aged 109.1 days

Current Breeding Dyfi-Born Birds

🦅♂ Merin (2015) — 1^st (failed) breeding attempt in Denmark 2018; breeding in Cumbria 2021 onwards.

🦅♂ Tegid (2016) — breeding in North Wales since 2020 at a private nest. Female un-ringed.

🦅♂ Aeron (2017) — breeding in North Wales since 2021 with a Poole Harbour female, Blue 014 (2018).

🦅♂ Dinas (2018) — breeding in North Wales in 2022 with a Poole Harbour female, Blue 019 (2019).
